{sup 6}Li and deuteron polarizations of 37% and 43%, respectively, and {sup 7}Li and proton polarizations of 47% and 56%, respectively, have been obtained at 2.5 Tesla magnetic field in samples of {similar to}2 cm{sup 3} irradiated at 180 K with total electron flux of several 10{sup 17} electrons/cm{sup 2}. For {sup 6}LiD as polarized neutron target it is expected (and for LiH as polarized proton target it is conjectured) that polarization of the Li nuclei results in average neutron (proton) polarizations substantially larger than in other target materials.
