pi pi. interaction in the Born approximation of the dual model with quantized slope of the Regge trajectories

The Born approximation for the ..pi pi.. interaction is discussed in the framework of the recently proposed dual model with quantized slope of the Regge trajectories, the partial width of the low-lying resonances are calculated, and fulfillment of Adler's self-consistency condition is verified. The resulting spectrum and resonance widths are compared with those of the models of Lovelace and Shapiro and of Frampton and with the experimental data.
