Reaction Rate Calibration Techniques at ZPPR for 239Pu Fission, 235U Fission, 238U Fission, and 238U Capture

Reaction-rate calibration techniques used at ZPPR are described for sup>239Pu fission, 235U fission, 238U fission, and 238U capture. In addition to these absolute reaction rates, calibration techniques are described for fission-rate ratios and the ratio of 238U capture to 239U capture to 239Pu fission. Uncertainty estimates are presented for all calibrations. Intercomparison measurements are reported which support the validity of the calibration techniques and their estimated uncertainties.
