FISSION CROSS-SECTIONS OF U$sup 238$, U$sup 235$, Pu$sup 233$, Pu$sup 239$# AND Th$sup 232$ FOR 14 Mev NEUTRONS

Relative and absolute fission cross-sections for 14 Mev neutrons were measured for the following isotopes using a back to back fission chamber: U/sup 238/, U/sup 235/, U/sup 233/, Pu/sup 239, an d Th/sup 232/. The ratios of fission rates obtained with various U/sup 238/ foils, irradiated in the same neutron flux, were compared with the mass ratios of the deposits. Values of the fission cross-sections at 14 Mev are included. (auth)
