This document summarizes the research activities within the School of Electrical Engineering of Purdue University. It is intended as a reference document for colleagues, prospective graduate students and organizations interested in electrical engineering research. The research summaries are organized according to ten areas, the first eight of which the Purdue electrical engineering graduate program is divided for administrative purposes. The ten areas are: automatic controls; bioengineering; circuits and systems; communications; computers and automata; electromagnetic fields and quantum electronics; energy sources and systems; solid state devices and materials; and engineering education.
