Title: Demonstration of superior vena caval obstruction and hot spot on liver scan in a case of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma

A case of total superior vena cava obstruction and hot spot in the liver demonstrated by a radiocolloid liver scan in a case of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the anterior mediastinum, is presented. The study showed total obstruction of the superior vena cava and the presence of collateral circulation. The patient received radiation therapy, and a subsequent radiocolloid study showed relief of the obstruction and disappearance of the hot spot.
