Particle-core coupling model applied to /sup 89/Y, /sup 87/Sr, and /sup 89/Sr

The positive- and negative-parity states of /sup 89/Y, /sup 87/Sr, and /sup 89/Sr are analyzed with the particle-core coupling model which, in the present extension, involves the coupling of a particle (hole) to six core states in /sup 88/Sr. The calculated energy-level sequences, spectroscopic factors, and the few available electromagnetic properties compare favorably with experiment.
