CHOLINE OXIDASE IN FATTY LIVERS INDUCED BY CERIUM

The choline oxidase level in rat liver homogenates was measured after administration of Ce. The experimentally obtained values show that the fatty infiltration induced by the Ce depends neither on the type of rat nor on its hormonal state. In fatty livers, the enzyme inhibition appears to be determined more by the lipoid content than by the cerium concentration. (tr-auth)
