DISTRIBUTION OF SCATTERED X-RAYS IN AN X-RAY ROOM AND THE DOSE RECEIVED BY X-RAY WORKERS

Measurements were made during routine radiography, tomography, photoroentgenography, fluoros copy, and deep therapy. The x-ray room was plastered by OSK paint to diminish reflection. The amount of scattered rays in every room was not negligible. The dose reached 50 mr when 20 subjects were photoroentgenographed or when 6 to 8 patients were examined by fluoroscopy. (auth)
