The lifetimes and decay modes of strange particles are studied. Special attention is given to leptonic decay modes; pionic decay modes of hyperons; pionic decay modes for K mesons; and LAMBDA decay in hypernuclei. It is suggested that the V-A weak-interaction-current hypothesis may be extended to include strange particle decay processes. (T.F.H.)
