Journal Article · · Nuovo Cimento (Italy) Divided into Nuovo Cimento A and Nuovo Cimento B
OSTI ID:4840793
The gamma spectra, following the decay of the 20-hr Tc/sup 65/ ground state and the 2.7 hr Tc/sup 93/ ground state and its 43min isomeric state, were studied using scintillation techniques. The sources were produced from enriched molybdenum targets. The energies (and relative intensities in% per decay) of the gamma rays from (20 plus or minus 1)-hr Tc/sup 95/ are: (205 plus or minus the first, second, and fourth were not previously reported. The decay of the (43 plus or minus 21-min Tc/sup 93/ isomer shows gamma rays of 1390 plus or minus 5) (I.T., 82% per decay) and (2660 plus or minus 40) kev (18% per decay), that of the (2.7 plus or minus 0.1)-hr ground state shows 2 new transitiona of (860 plus or minus 20) 12.6% per decay) and (2440 plus or minus 30) kev (0.3% per decay) in addition to the known ones of (1350 plus or minus 10) (60), (1490 plus or minus 10) (30), and (2030 plus or minus 30) (0.35%) kev. A revised decay scheme is proposed for Tc/sup 93/. (auth)
