A NEW TECHNETIUM ACTIVITY: 4.5 HOUR $sup 94$Tcm

Journal Article · · Physica
A 4.5 plus or minus 0.2 hr technetium activity was produced by bombarding Mo, enriched in Mo/sup 94/, with 16-Mev deuterons. It decays by a 1000 plus or minus 50-kev positron branch to a level at 2440-kev in Mo/sup 94/, which then emits a cascade of 860, 710, and 870-kev gamma . Comparison with the decay of 52-min Tc/sup 94/ which takes place by positron emission (2.41-Mev), accompanied by gamma at 870, 1530, 1870, 2410, 2730, and 3200 kev, makes the assignment of the 4.5-hr activity to Mo/sup 94/ unambiguous.
