Descriptions are given of a gamma spectrometer capable of selecting gamma quanta with resolving time approximately 1 nsec and operating with plastic scintillators. The resolving time for Cs/sup 137/ gamma quanta is approximately 25%. For the NaI(Tl) crystal the resolving time is approximately 4 nsec at 90% efficiency counting the Co/sup 60/ gamma quantum coincidences. (tr-auth)
