A measuring methcd is offered for determining the scintillation time of organic scintillators by comparison to the time of electron flight through photo- multipliers. The excitution of specimens is achieved with Co/sup 60/ quanta. Measurements of the scintillation time of stilbene, tolane, p-terphenyl solution in phenylcyclohexane, and two plastic scintillators show scintillation time variations from 5.6 up to 11.8 nsec(tr-auth)
