ON THE NATURE OF THE 686 kev LEVEL OF Re$sup 18$$sup 7$ (in French)

Journal Article · · Nuclear Physics
The half life of the 686-kev level in Re/sup 187/ was measured by the delayed coincidence method; T/sub 1/2/ = (2 plus or minus 0.7) x 10/sup -10/ sec. The El and E2 transition probabilities are compared with probabilities calculated using the Nilsson model. The 686-kev level need not be vibrational. (auth)
