The disintegration W/sup 187/ yields Re/sup 187/ was studied by BETA spectrometry, gamma spectrometry, and by slow and fast BETA - gamma and gamma - gamma coincidences. Transitions of 72, 134, corresponding to excited levels of 134, 206, 630, 686, T 1/2 = 5 x 10/sup -7/ sec, is de-excited to the 134 kev level by a 72 kev transition that was identified as E1 (hindrance factor: F = 3.5 ( plus or minus 1.5) x 10/sup 6/.) Spins and parities were assigned for most of the levels. A level scheme based on the experimental results is proposed. (auth)
