BS>Facilities and procedures for studying the effects of ingested Sr/sup 90/ in beagles from zero ossification (in utero) to 18 months of age are described. A study of the retention of Sr/sup 90/ with respect to Ca in beagles was made. Predictive equations for estimating the skeletal mass in living dogs are presented. Pathological consequences of administered Sr/sup 90/ and Y/sup 90/ were studied. (D.L.C.)
