the contamination of the human placenta with 90Sr (in German)
The Sr90 content of human placentas was determined, and the values obtained were compared with the Sr90 content of the bones of newborn infants. The results showed that, as expected, a discrimination occurs in the passage of the calcium and Sr90 from the placenta to the bones.
