Results of measurements of Sr/sup 90/ in human bones in Western Germany from 1958 to 1960 are given. In 1959 the average values in the bones of newborn infants lncreased to l.56 pc/g Ca. In l960 these values dropped back to the 1958 level. A further rise ln Sr/sup 90/ contamination of the bones is expected in the 0- to 5-year-old group. In 1960 the peak value was found in the one-year-old group. The values found in the bones of newborn infants are ln linear reIation to the annual averages of Sr/sup 90/ contamination of milk for these particular years. In conclusion, the results of studies of the Sr/sup 90/ content of human testicular tissue are given. (auth)
