· British Journal of Radiology
A method is described for deducing the 37 per cent dose slope and the extrapolation number of the dose-response relationship for a cell population, from simple fractionation experiments. The method involves matching the effect of a pair of fractionated doses with a single equivalent dose, and repeating for two dose levels. Experiments are described in which the method is applied to Vicia faba.
