RADIATIONS FROM 83 MIN $sup 139$Ba

Journal Article · · J. Inorg. & Nuclear Chem.
The decay scheme of 83 ndin Ba/sup 139/ was examined by detailed gamma - scintillation spectroscopy. The energies of the vtive intensities are 0.165 (100), 1.092 plus or minus 0.015 (0,12), 1.272 plus or minus 0.0l2 (0.30), and 1.433 plus or minus 0.008 (1.8). No evidence was found ftor the gamma ray of 0.78 Mev whnch was previously rcported. Results are incorporated in a decay scheme, in which the absolute yield of the 0.165 Mev level was used to calculate the beta -group intensities. (auth)
