Decay of $sup 139$Cs (in French)

A study was made of the BETA and gamma spectra following the decay of /sup 139/Cs. The activity is produced on-line with the ARIEL isotope separator. The Q/sub BETA / 4.23 plus or minus 6.1 MeV, the relative intensity of the ground state feeding BETA branch is (89.5 plus or minus 1) per cent. A tentative level scheme is deduced from the results of Ge(Li) singles and Ge(Li) --Ge(Li) coincidence measurements, and is compared with earlier studies. (auth)
