DECAY SCHEME OF Eu$sup 14$$sup 5$ (in Russian)
Gamma transitions and gamma -- gamma coincidences in the decay of an europium fraction, chromotographically separated from a tantalum target bombarded by 660-Mev protons, were studied with a scintillation coincidence spectrormeter. The emission of Eu/sup 147/, Eu/sup 148/, and Eu/sup 149/ was separated from the short-life Eu/sup 145/ and Eu/sup 146/. A detailed investigation of Eu/sup 145/ gamma spectra at energies up to 3 Mev indicated gamma transitions that are obviously between Sm/sup 145/ levels. Transitions with energies of 530, 655, 765, 895, 1660, l870, 2000, 2200, and 2420 kev and relative intensities of 7.3 plus or minus 2.7, 27 plus or minus 7, 10 plus or minus 3, 100, l5.6 plus or minus 0.8, 1.5, 8 plus or minus 1, 1 and 1 respectively were determined. The gamma -- gamma coincidences indicate cascade transitionsn 895--665--530-- 110, 895--765, 530--765, 530--520, 2000(KX), and l660(KX) kev. Coineidendees of 1610-- 110, cay scheme of Eu/sup 145/ developed on the (rasis of the data is included. (R.V.J.)
