Title: LEAST SQUARES ANALYSIS OF THE 2200 m/sec PARAMETERS OF U$sup 233$, U$sup 235$, AND Pu$sup 23$$sup 9$

An analysis similar to that of Du Mond and Cohen on the atomic constants was applied to measurements of the 2200 m/sec cross sections of U/sup 233/,U/sup 235/, and Pu/sup 239/. The following values are obtained: U/sup 233/; ( sigma / sub T/= 591 plus or minus 3), sigma /sub a/ = 576.1 plus or minus 2.7, sigma / sub f/=527.5 plus or minus 2.4, nu =2.503 plus or minus 0.010,U/sup 235/; ( sigma /sub 694 plus or minus 3), sigma /sub a/=682.0 plus or minus 2.6, sigma / sub f/ =582.2 plus or minus 2.2, nu =2.430 plus oraand Pu/sup 239/; ( sigma /sub T/= 1040 plus or minus 10), sigma /sub a/= 1030.1 plus or minus 7.4, sigma / sub f/ = 748.2 plus or minus 4.9, nu = 2.882 plus or minus 0.016. From these values, the following values are derived: U/sup 233/; n = 2.292 plus or minus 0.008, alpha = 0.092 plus or minus 0.003, U/sup 235/; n = 2.074 plus or minus 0.006, alpha = 0.171 plus or minus 0.003, and Pu/sup 239/; n = 2.093 plus or minus 0.014, alpha = 0.377 plus or minus 0.011. The values in parentheses, the sigma /sub T's/, are obtained by adding the estimated scattering cross section to the least squares valuo of sigma /sub a/. ( auth)
