A fast coincidence technique was employed to measure the relative prompt- neutron yields per fission of U/sup 233/, U/sup 235/, Pu/sup 239, and Pu/sup 241/ induced by thermal neutrons. The values obtained were nu /sup 23/ nu /sup 25/ = 1.02 plus or minus 0.01, nu /sup 49/ nu /sup 25/ = 1.23 plus or minus 0.01, and nu /sup 41/ nu /sup 25 1.295 plus or minus 0.02, where nu /sup 23/, nu / sup 25/, nu /sup 49/, and nu /sup 41/ des ignate the prompt-neutron yields of U/ sup 233/, U/sup 235, Pu/sup 239, and Pu, sup 241/, respectively.
