Journal Article · · Atom (England)
OSTI ID:4821234
Over the next ten years the electrical power generated by British nuclear stations is expected to rise about 20 times that at present being generated by the reactors at Calder Hall and Chapelcross. The amount of fission product waste produced by the power stations will increase in proportion to the power generated. Methods used for waste processing and disposal at present are described. Measures planned to handle the waste from the expanding nuclear power program are described. (C.H.)
