In an earlier paper the elastic scattering of 29-Mev He/sup 3/ particles by chlorine, from a CCl/sub 4/ target, was studied using the photographic technique. This work was continued with the study of the C/sup 12/(He/sup 3/, alpha )C/sup 11/ pick-up reaction, and the angular distribution is presented and compared with that predicted by the Butler model, an interaction radius of 3.5 fermis was obtained.
