The asymmetry of the isospin-zero 3-pion wave function under interchange of any pair permits each pion to interact with others through the strong p-wave, isospin-l, pi - pi force. A model in which the pions interact two at a time in the p-wave, isospin-1 (resonant) state is considered. It is shown that all graphs of this type are summed by a simple integral equation for the scattering amplitude 3 pi yields 3 pi . (L.N.N.)
