THE PREPARATION OF STANDARD SAMPLES FOR THE SPECTRAL ANALYTICAL DETERMINATION OF SMALL BORON CONCENTRATIONS IN REACTOR GRAPHITE (in German)

                        The ashing of reactor graphite in the presence of a trace carrier and the chemical composition of the residue are reported. A method for the preparation of suitable standard samples is given. lt is shown that in the standard sample the basic material and the boron admixture must be the same compounds as in the ash (the other ash fractions can be ignored). If these conditions are not fulfilled, a systematic error occurs which can show boron concentrations higher by a factor of 2 to 3. (tr-auth)
