MAGNETIC MOMENT OF THE 23.8 kev EXCITED STATE OF THE Sn$sup 119$ NUCLEUS (in Russian)

The magnetic moment of the 23.8 kev excited state of the Sn/sup 119/ nucleus is measured by gamma resonance absorption. The resonance absorption spectrum is measured with a Sn/sup 119m/ source in tin dioxide and an sbsorber of tin-iron alloy (1.7% tin). A value of 0.75 plus or minus 0.04 nuclear magnetons is obtained for the magnetic moment. The magnetic field acting on the tin nuclei in the alloy is found to equal 68 plus or minus 2 kOe. (auth)
