the design, construction, operation, characteristics, and cost of the Douglas Point Nuclear Power Statson are briefly described. The statson will utilize a 200 Mw natural uranium fueled, heavy water cooled and moderated, horizontal pressure tube reactor with a heat output of 604 Mw (CANDU reactor). Particular emphasis is placed on the eost of the statnon and the costs invoived are tabulated. The reactor is located at Douglas Point on the shore of Lake Huron near Kincardine, Ontario, Canada.
