Recovery of agglutinin production in isologous fetal liver chimeras

Journal Article · · Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
The ability to produce agglutinins against rat or sheep RBC was investigated in isologous fetal liver chimeras at 1 hour, and 15, 30, 45, and 60 days after irradiation and the response tested 14 days later. The recovery of these immune responses was not complete at 60 days after the treatment. The ability to respond against sheep RBC recovered faster and to a greater extent than did that against rat RBC.
