Mice were thymectomized at the age of 40 days and irradiated 30 days later with a 100% lethal x-ray dose. If these animals are restored by cells of isologous fetal liver, they all die between 30 and 60 days after irradiation. Their lymphatic organs remain aplastic. (tr-auth)
