THE USE OF AGFA-TEXO-F-FILM IN THE NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING OF MATERIALS WITH $gamma$-RAYS

A new fine grain film was developed by VEB Agfa, Wolfen, which shows a marked improvement in sensitivity and contrast for gamma defectoscopy than other commercial X-ray and gamma -ray films. Results are summarized of a sys tematic investigation with Co/sup 60/ and Ir/sup 192/ on the influence of exposure duration and on the contrast and clarity of this film for various test materials.
