Progress on field investigations and laboratory experiments on marine plankton biology is reported. Four cruises were made to study the waters between Woods Hole, Mass. and Bermuda. The geographical distribution of both phytoplankton and zooplankton including their vertical distribution in the water column was studied along with the chemistry of the water. (M.C.G.)
