A triple-focusing beta spectrometer was used for determining the electron conversion spectra of Eu/sup 149/(T/sub 1/2 =90d) separated from a tantalum target bombarded by 660-Mev protons. Conversion lines at 256, 279 330, 352, 508 and 530 kev were found and analyzed. The x-ray coincidences indicate that the excited levels of Sm/sup 149/ have a half life of 10/sup -6/ sec. (R.V.J.)
