ANIONITE ADSORPTION OF NITRIC ACID FROM ORGANIC SOLUTIONS (in Russian)

The static capacities of certain weak- and strong-base anion resins for HNO/sup 3/ tributyl phosphate were determined, and it is shown that anion resins can be used in preparing neutral uranyl nitrate solutions of TBP in an inert diluent. Aspects of nitric acid and uranyl nitrate anion absorption mechanisms are discussed. (R.V.J.)
