Technical Report ·
DOI:https://doi.org/10.2172/4800194· OSTI ID:4800194
The experimental methods used and results and conclusions from a study of the extraction of inorganic substances by organic solvents are presented. Among the inorganic substances investigated in detail were ferric chloride, ruthenium chloride, tantalum fluoride, ferric bromide, aluminum chloride, and lithium tetrachloroferrate. The organic solvents used most frequently were diethyl ether, di-isopropyl ether, and tri-n-butyl phosphate. A list of reports, theses, and papers on extraction studies is given. (P.C.H.)
