Amplitudes and cross sections for the reactions are considered with an accuracy to quadratic terms in threshold momenta. The dependence of cross sections on kinetic energy of the particles produced is expressed in an explicit form. In principle from an analysis of the experimental data of the reactions it is possible to determine both pi - pi interaction amplitudes, a/sub o/ and a/sup 2/, at zero energy and in isotopic spin states T = 0 and T = 2. This may be compared with the analysis carried out with an accuracy to linear terms in the momenta, which yields only the charge exchange amplitude a/sub 2/-a/sub o/. in the first part of the paper a convenient dispersion method was presented for calculating diagrams which are importamt in the problem.
