One ml of morlamin (mixture of total essential aminoacids) was injected into mice of the Wistar strain subcutaneously once a day for 10 days after whole- body irradiation. The group irradiated with 400 r developed sllght leukocytosis in the peripheral blood, a slight increase of percentage of reticulated red cells and of nuclear cell density in the bone marrow, and a slight increase of cell number in the lymph nodes. The control group showed a fairly damaged blood picture. It was concluded that daily administration of essential aminoacids promotes the regeneration of hematopoietic tissues damaged by radiation.
