THE RADIOPROTECTIVE EFFECT IN COMBINED USE OF PREPARATIONS (in Russian)

The potentiation of the radioprotective effect in combined use of tryptamine with mercamine (proparmine) or histamine and mercamine with histamine is demonstrated. Intensification of the protective effect in combined utilization of preparations is considered as a confirmation of the differences in the mechanism of their action. In the combined use of tryptamine and AET the toxic action became augmented, while there was no intensified protective effect, this being due to the inhibiting influence of AET on the process of oxidative deamination of tryptamine.
