THE RADIOPROTECTIVE EFFECTS OF COMBINED HYPOXIA AND AET IN MICE

Journal Article · · Intern. J. Radiation Biol.

The radioprotective effects in mice of a combination of hypoxia and AET were studied. No evidence of significant therapeutic synergism was found. A relative increase in the number of deaths which occurred three to six days after irradiation in the protected mice suggested that the protective agents had a selective action on the modes of postirradiation death.
