A Nb base alloy is described which has high hot strength, fabricability, and oxidation resistance at high temperatures up to 2000 deg F. The alloy consists of 2 to 5% Ti, 9 to 11% Mo, 4to 8% Cr, 0.5 to 2% Zr, and balance Nb. The alloy is especially suited for use in gas-turbine blades. (D.L.C.)
