OSTI ID:4769474
Fe-- Al base alloys are described which have improved ductility and fabricability even after high-temperature annealing, and increased resistance to water corrosion. The alloys comprise by weight 8 to 10% Al, 2 to 5% Cr, 1 to 5% Nb, 0.5 to 3% Zr, and balance Fe; 0 to 4% Mo and 0 to 2% Ti may also be included. The effects of Zr on the ductility, stress-rupture life, and corrosion resistance of the alloys are shown. (D.L.C.)
