The effects of post-irradiation temperature treatments upon the x-ray- induced chromosome aberrations were studied with the pollen mother cells of Trillium kamtschaticum Pall. Post low temperarure treatment for the period of about 76 hr caused the delay of the progress of cell division. The frequencies of the chromosome aberrations, especially the frequency of chromatid translocations, were lower in the material posttreared with low temperature in comparison with the case of higher temperature.
