The adsorption of monovalent and alkaline earth cations by ionic phosphorylated resins was investigated. Adsorption sequences under acidic conditions are Li < Na < K < Rb < Cs << Ag and Sr < Ca << Be, and with dibasic resins in alkaline media Na > K > Rb. The sequences for the alkali metal cations are in accord with those obtained by other investigators. (auth)
