From a neutron-irradiated mixture of pure Cr(CO)6 and uranyl acetate, the pure fission Mo was sublimated as Mo(CO)6 30 sec after irradiation. Five minutes later a second sublimation left the unsublimable Tc daughter as a residue. In addition to Tc104, Tc105 was also identified. Beta decay measurements of the residue showed a significant genetic relationship between an activity with a 7.7 min half life and the activity of Ru105. The 7.7 min activity was assigned to Tc105. The half life of Mo105 was measured at 40 sec in agreement with earlier results.
