Radio-Protection Problems Presented by Iodine Isotopes in Nuclear Fuel Chemical Treatment Plants; LES PROBLEMES DE RADIOPROTECTION POSES PAR LES ISOTOPES DE L'IODE DANS LES INSTALLATIONS DE TRAITEMENT CHIMIQUE DES COMBUSTIBLES

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4777902
The origin of I/sup 131/ and the conditions in which it is liberated from atomic energy industrial installations are reviewed. The question of the risks associated with the presence of this radioelement in the atmosphere is discussed. A method is proposed for the trapping and rapid measurement of the iodine in the vapor form, applicable to radioprotection. (auth)
