Changes in Density of Blood Serum with Irradiation Dose and Post-irradiation Period

Rats were exposed to varying doses of x radiation and the change in blood serum density determined at various times. Maximum changes were observed 6 hr after a 500-r dose. Similar changes were also observed after the application of tris-( BETA -chlorethyl amine hydrochlcride) and colloidal P³²-labeled C r phosphate. Possible mechanisms of the changes are discussed briefly.
