RETENTION AND EXCRETION OF CAESIUM-137 BY MAN

Journal Article · · Physics in Medicine and Biology (England)
Measurements of Cs/sup 137/ in the bodies and urine of five males who had accidentally acquired a body burden of this radio-nuclide are described. It was found that the halfperiod of retention of Cs/sup 137/ in the body varied between 80 and 130 days and that the average daily urinary excretion was 0.6% of the body burden. (auth)
